Ventanas de Mirador

Here in the north of Spain, ventanas de mirador or bay windows feature on most of the old buildings.

Enclosed so the view can be enjoyed even in the wet weather...... it is called Green Spain for a reason!!
We are staying in the seaside town of Castro Urdiales, which has some fine examples of these windows.

This internet business was a little more complicated than I thought!! Setting off for Kensington

I'm just about to set off for Kensington town hall, to set up my stand for The Kensington Dollshouse Festival which is taking place this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Kit of the Month

This kit contains all three Auriculas......no need to make a difficult choice!
Auriculas are a member of the primula family, much prized for their distinctive markings and the floury white centres of their flowers.

More Pansies

First of all a warm welcome to all the latest people who have joined this blog, Those of you who have blogs, I've been trying to add you to my bloglist, but for some reason or other Blogger is not playing nicely and won't let me. I'll keep trying!!

I just couldn't resist showing you how sweet the Large Pansies look in individual pots!

Kit of the Month

This month's kit is 10 large pansies, they come in a choice of two mixed colours pinks/purples and reds/yellows.

Although I have shown them all grouped together in one pot, they look absolutely charming in single tiny pots.
